Guns and Ammo

Wow. The things that have gone on today at Virgina Tech are pretty mind blowing. It will be interesting to hear stories of how it came about and what actually happened. I immediately thought of the 1966 incident where a crazed sniper killed 13 and wounded 31 at the University of Texas in Austin. After police shot and killed Charles Whitman in the university's bell tower, they discovered he had earlier killed his wife and mother. While I wasn't alive then, I have seen the re-enactment on the History channel. That is good enough I suppose. Very tragic all the way around.

Week two of the softball season has ended poorly. At least we have new jerseys! They are nice UnderArmour jerseys that are lightweight, cool, and very confortable. Much better than the old cotton shirts that we have been wearing for years.

The Predators are playing game 3 tonight of the first round of the playoffs against the Sharks out in San Jose. I am listening to the Sharks radio guys on the internet.
Suter scored to make it 1-0 at the end of period one...time for bed.
