Random Thanksgiving Thoughts

those that know me know that i have been an Alias fan from the beginning. this week, the Season 5 box set comes out as well as the complete series set that is packaged in a Rambaldi artifact, limited to a run of 40,000 copies. it arrived today, and man it is the coolest dvd packaging i have ever seen. i am rewatching S5 as i type, sad once again that the show has ended.

in my last entry, i mentioned a possible job that i never heard back from that i was really interested in. well, the guy finally called me end of last week, and i went to an interview this afternoon. i have been asked to return next week for a second interview with another two people, and if all goes well, i will be employed very soon.

Thanksgiving has always been an enjoyable time. seeing relatives that i only see twice a year (other than weddings or funerals), pimento cheese sandwiches, thickly sliced country ham, eating enough turkey to fall asleep during the second football game, and of course, leftovers. more importantly, i am thankful for family and friends, for being relatively healthy, and for a God who loves me even when i fall short.
